Welcome to the Carter blog. There once were 5 of us, then we grew to 11, then 14 for a short period and now are about to be 12. Some may say we are actually ONE EGG SHORT OF A DOZEN for choosing to have a large family. We hurt and cry and sometimes yell but then again we laugh, forgive, and have fun much more! We Made it To Thailand!!!
On April 1, After 4.5 hours on a bus to San Fran, a 13 hour plane ride to Seoul, Korea, a 5.5 hour plane ride to Chanig, Mai, Thailand, a 4 hour van ride to Chaing Rai, Thailand, We arrived at 3:30am on April 3 to our destination. After a 2 hour sleep, we had an incredible Asian buffet breakfast and are headed out for shopping and massage before our intensive ministry opportunities begin.Thanking God for safe travel, A group of very inspirational, Jesus loving people, a wonderful roomate, Annie Dombowsky, an the opportunity to do what my heart comes alive for. I could use some prayers, I have gotten a sinus infection that I do not need or want!
