Will you Pray and Fast for Allenni, Andrew and Isaiah? Part 1

For many days, weeks and months we have been praying for God to work a miracle for Allenni, Andrew and Isaiah. Though in this natural world, we have not seen any circumstances that point to our miracle happening, we know our God is Faithful to complete that which He has started, and in the spiritual realm He is working on our behalf to deliver our children. As we have sought out God to deliver our children and bring them home, we have experienced many emotions. Waiting has been harder on some days than others. We have claimed God’s promises that “He is a rewarder of those that faithfully seek Him”, “that He sets the lonely in families”, that “He delivers justice for the orphan” and many more. We have never once doubted that our God gave us these children, that they are Carters and that they belong in this family. Duane and I have prayed many times asking God, ‘Ok, Father, What are you trying to teach us, because we really want to learn it and get our kids home.” But then we both heard and understood something through seeking out our Father’s heart, “This is not about you learning anything, in fact it is not about you at all. This is about those kids and their destiny. The evil one is fighting me tooth and nail for them, but I will be victorious.” This revelation sort of changed our approach in prayer for our kids. God showed us that we should start praying His Goodness and Love over the kids and those in authority holding their files. So for several months that is what we have been doing. God has been teaching Duane and I that when we worship our King, satan can’t stand a chance in the atmosphere of praise. Satan loves to be worshiped and wants it more than anything. In fact, that is what got him kicked out of heaven and that is what he tried to get Jesus to do in the wilderness.
So if we whine and complain about what God hasn’t done, and bad mouth and gripe about the officials who are keeping our kids from joining us then in fact, we are sending praises to satan’s efforts. They are being proclaimed instead of what God is doing! God, in Scripture, has already promised us things and told us they are done but maybe sometimes we aren’t believing them. We have been learning that words spoken in this natural earthly realm actually affect the spiritual heavenly realm.
Let me explain in short. In the beginning, God gave man the authority on earth to have dominion over it, but man handed that dominion over to satan when he sinned against God, but Jesus took it back when he died on the cross and handed it back to human mankind. Mankind is still being deceived on a great level that he has no authority on this earth to accomplish great and mighty things for the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus himself told us, that we would do greater things than he had done and this goes on into many other things but the one thing that I want to point out is that our authority and words here on earth make a difference and move God to accomplish great and mighty things on our behalf on this earth. Worship and Thanksgiving to God are like weapons to fight against satan’s works. If we focus on the things God has done in the past for us and thank Him and praise him, instead of complaining about what God has not done, we believe we will see Heaven go to bat for us!
So, all that being said, Duane and I have been praying like that for sometime now and are feeling like there is breakthrough soon in breaking satan’s hold on the deliverance of our children. We are two people fighting with God for our children to be set free and to have family. We KNOW that God’s will is this,

1. That we be joined as a family. He instituted families and established them here on earth. (Genesis 1:28)
2. He loves the orphan and has a heart for them. “A Father to the Fatherless...is God in His holy dwelling.” (Psalms 68:5)
3. That the orphans will not be alone. “God sets the lonely in families. “(Psalms 68:6)
4. That the orphans will not be prisoners. “He leads forth the prisoners with singing…” (Psalms 68:6b) (Micah 2:13)
5. That Allenni, Andrew and Isaiah are our children. “ He said to me, “You are my son, today I have become your Father, ask of me and I will make the nations your inheritance and the ends of the earth, your possession. (Psalms 2:7,8)
6. That God wants to save and deliver. Over and over in scripture He has shown us that He is our Deliver and Strong Tower. And that He is mighty to save. That He has nothing but Good Gifts for His children. All the rest is from satan.
7. That He be worshiped in all circumstances. Again, I could list verse after verse, where God enjoys our worship and moves when it is done! “ I cried out to Him with my mouth; His praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened, but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!” (Psalms 66:17-20)
So, in knowing that the above things are God’s will and are truth, we lean upon them as promises that He will fight for us.
But over the last few weeks God has laid it upon our hearts to call all our family, friends, acquaintances, and the church who has God’s heart for the orphans to join with us in prayer and fasting for Allenni, Andrew and Isaiah to be issued passports and to come home.
The next email or post will lay out the details about this as I know this one has gotten sort of long.
