Spring Break at Edisto Beach, SC


On our way to the Beach we stopped at Nana Jan's and Papaw Bud's to visit. There wasn't much room to walk with all of us in the living room.





Isaiah fell asleep on my head while we were traveling.


We usually go to Destin for a trip to the Beach. But last year we decided to do something different and went to Edisto Island, SC. We loved it so much we decided to come again. It reminds me of when I was a little girl and used to go to the beaches of NC and SC with my family. It makes me miss my grandma, who loved the beach. We have the beach practically to ourselves, it is so relaxing. Pelicans fly overhead continuously and shells abound. It is well worth the 9 hour drive. There are no shopping malls, no strips or many restaurants. The kids love the bike trails and the many pools and beaches.

After the shrimp boil, there was Karoke! Nobody but us wanted to do it! (we were the youngest at the boil!
The activities director was from China and loved Karoke as well.
