REAL SNOW!!!!!!

Eli and Seora
Eli is prepared in his camo and Seora's scarf and hat
We haven't seen this much snow in years!
Eli running with glee!

Ok, We got all excited! It snowed here! We got 3 1/2 inches! Seora must have prayed! She has been wanting real snow for years! Now you have to understand, here in AL, snow like this is a rarity. I can't believe that much fell in the short time of 1 hour. The kids dressed up warmly, that is except for Graham who wanted to run in it barefoot, and ran out to play in the dark. We turned on every flood light we had and they threw snowballs, dug the sled out and slid down the little slopes in our yard and our neighbor's yard. We gathered snow off of the vehicles (Only the top layer)( Don't worry, it was clean because it had rained in torrents for two days solid) to make snow cream and after we were all frozen to death, we made the insides of our bodies cold as well by eating as much snow cream we could. We saved some of the snow and put it in the freezer and made snow cone the next day!
The next morning the kids and the neighbor kids were up bright and early to play some more before it all started melting. I really didn't see Eli or Graham til 4pm that afternoon!
So... this family is thankful for the snow and fun we had that only comes every several years!

On another note, I have been so busy that I haven't had the time or energy to blog. There is lots to tell but I guess it will have to wait for another time.
There is still no word from Uganda and we still wait!
