Welcome to the Carter blog. There once were 5 of us, then we grew to 11, then 14 for a short period and now are about to be 12. Some may say we are actually ONE EGG SHORT OF A DOZEN for choosing to have a large family. We hurt and cry and sometimes yell but then again we laugh, forgive, and have fun much more! We call ourselves FAMILY. Join us on the adventures we seem to fall into on our adoption journeys and family life. You never know what you will find!

Christmas Eve back at home
Every Christmas Eve we have a tradition that the kids can open one present that we choose. The kids get the cookies and milk ready and then they go to bed and Mom and Aunt Marcy gets busy finishing up the wrapping while Duane goes to bed (Yes, he does)and we prepare for Santa to come.
Graham opening his present
Eli getting ready for bed. Nice Pj's huh?
Eli was so excited about getting the milk and cookies ready. He chose a candy cane for Santa because Eli himself loves them.
