Activities in May with Nana and Papaw

Duane's Parents were here for two weeks and we loved every moment of it. We took them down by the river and they got to attend Graham and Sarah's Awards night.

We were pretty proud of Graham for the several awards he received on awards night.

So proud of Sarah for her accomplishments

Isaiah came in and sat down with papaw and announced, "Look at Me!, I look like Papaw!" He had taken a cottonball  "shaped it" like papaw's mustache and had glued it on his lip.  I think dad was a little proud. :)

Nana and Papaw Visit and a Trip to Lake Almanor

Duane's parents came to visit us and it was so good to see them! It had been too long! Sometimes Alabama is too far away and getting to see them once a year stinks.
While they were here we planned a day trip to Lake Almanor. We had heard about it but had never been in our 4 years of living here. We were not disappointed.

Sarah, Allenni and Andrew were enjoying the sodas ( a treat) and some grilled hot dogs

My beautiful mom!

My parents came to visit for two weeks and this was their first trip they had ever had out west. We had a great time with them. We really wanted to go Salmon fishing but because of the lack of rain the Salmon run was not good. Maybe in the Spring!
